Responsibilities
Contributing to the development of the CHS Action plan, and supporting its implementation. • Providing technical support on development and maintaining of context specific complaints response mechanisms (CRM), and contributing to FCA's global CRM-related policies and guidelines. Supporting CHS integration into FCA's partnership tools and guidelines, and assisting country offices in applying the partnership guidelines and tools
Supporting the Country Programs in adopting FCA's project level PME guidelines and tools, and giving feedback to the HO on observed needs to revise/develop the tools and guidelines
Assisting Country Programs in managing of project evaluations and impact assessments • Liaising between the Country Programs and the HO when developing guiding documents and procedures related to quality and accountability.
Contributing to the development of FCAs new web-based project handling system
Assisting HO at managing investigations of sensitive complaints
Serving as a member of the Advisory Group
on Complaints Handling
Qualifications
Masters degree in a relevant domain or equivalent work experience
In depth work experience in development cooperation and humanitarian assistance in INGO sector; experience of operational development and/or humanitarian work in fragile contexts is an asset
Good knowledge on the Core Humanitarian Standard CMS, preferably through attendance organised by the CHS Alliance
Knowledge on complaints handling and complaints systems
Expertise in investigation of sensitive complaints
Good knowledge on the context of FCA's program countries in Africa and Middle East
Good facilitation skills and experience in conducting training in different cultural settings
Language skills: English and French native proficiency/ability to conduct complex professional training in both languages; Finnish language is an asset.
