Summary

BrightLife is looking for a passionate, experienced, high performing and result oriented Direct Sales Manager skilled in leadership, training, critical thinking, problem solving and with the ability to ensure milestone deliverables through overall coordination and implementation of detailed regional plans. This is a one-year position that will require frequent movement and settlement in different areas within the entire sphere of Uganda.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The position requires an individual who is full of energy, has a good attitude, creative, results driven and keen on helping BrightLife meet its customer acquisition, product and revenue growth strategic objectives. S/he will be responsible for:

Leadership: Identify, recruit and train high-performing Sales Agents, Supervisors and Customer Relationship Executives and training champions. Be a lead on specific strategic initiatives as delegated by

the Commercial and Projects Director.

Sales Team Management: Directly supervise, motivate and monitor a group of Sales Supervisors and their agents, making sure to deliver sales targets and repayment rates per portfolio in a cost efficient and timeous manner. Provide day to day sales guidance to ensure sales efficiency.

KPI Tracking: With the guidance of the Commercial and Projects Director, develop and maintain accurate KPIs for the sales agent network, and monitor KPIs to increase efficiency and productivity of the agent network. These will be reviewed periodically.

Leads Generation: Manage marketing, promotional and other event schedules for regional, partner and other sales events in an effort to generate leads for social impact.

Support /Link: Serve as a support for other departments to provide end to end feedback from departmental engagements and therefore improve BrightLife’s clients’ satisfaction levels.

Strategic initiatives: Follow through and execute strategic initiatives as guided by the Head of Sales and Marketing, in a bid to grow our sales effectiveness, channels and partner engagements through project tracking and reporting.

Business Insights: Provide daily, weekly and monthly insights on business performance and the trajectory thereof, to ensure team preparedness to bridge the gaps and succeed at their goals.

Collections: Provide leadership to ensure proper management and after sales support to all BrightLife clients in the region. The objective is to maintain a highly repaying/performing portfolio.
