Our Client in Financial Services sector is looking for a competent candidate to fill various vacant position:

Audit

Internal Systems Audit Officer

Job Ref: EHC/1123/18

Reporting to Internal Audit Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Performing general and application control reviews for the systems

Performing Information control reviews which include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, & system maintenance.

Directing and/or performing reviews of internal control procedures and security for systems under development and/or enhancements to current systems.

Maintaining computerized audit software.

Consulting with and advising administrators, trainers and staff on various operational issues related to the system and on general business operations as needed.

Following up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).

Coordinating and interacting with external auditors, administrators, trainers, staff; Law enforcement officials

Assisting and training other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques and in developing methods for review and analysis of the system.

Person Specifications

KCSE grade C+ and above

A degree from a recognized University preferably in Computer Science or a related field with at least 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above

Professional qualification in: Certified Information Systems Auditor

(CISA), or Cert
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Account (CPA)

Proficient in using computer software (e.g., IDEA, ACL, SQL, Excel) and application systems

Ability to perform control reviews on systems development, operation, programming, control, and security procedures and standards
