Financial Reporting Centre Risk Management Officer Jobs in Kenya

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Designing and implementing an overall risk management framework and process;

Developing annual risk assessment plans;

Risk assessment and documentation of response strategies for mitigating risks;

Following up with the responsible departments on implementation of recommended actions to address the identified risks;

Reviewing and updating the risk registers;

Performing a risk evaluation of the FRC previous handling of risks and comparing potential risks with criteria set out;

Risk reporting tailored to the relevant departments;

Building risk awareness amongst staff;

Providing periodic management reports on significant risks and mitigations.

Person Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Computer
Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or relevant field from a recognized university;

Professional Certification in IT Audit, Risk or IT Security e.g. CISM, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC required;

CPA, CIA, CFE and related qualifications will be an added advantage;

Knowledge in audit tools & techniques including process mapping, control identification & analysis and design of audit tests.

Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and

Must be a citizen of Kenya.

Good Communication and presentation skills; and

Proficiency in computer applications
