Financial Reporting Centre Records Management Officer Jobs in Kenya


Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Developing and implementing records management policies and procedures;

  • Proper handling of vital documents;

  • Ensuring effective mail management;

  • Ensuring proper classification and indexing of records;

  • Maintaining, verifying and evaluating the records management systems;

  • Ensuring security of files and information; and

  • Preparing disposal schedules in accordance with relevant government laws and regulations.

    Person Specifications

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

  • At least three (3) years working experience in records management;

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Information Science / Library Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

  • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and

  • Must be a citizen of Kenya.

    Key Competencies and Skills

  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Excellent organizing skills;

  • Must be a team player; and

  • Proficiency in Computer applications.
