Financial Reporting Centre Records Management Officer Jobs in Kenya
Job DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing records management policies and procedures;
Proper handling of vital documents;
Ensuring effective mail management;
Ensuring proper classification and indexing of records;
Maintaining, verifying and evaluating the records management systems;
Ensuring security of files and information; and
Preparing disposal schedules in accordance with relevant government laws and regulations.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
At least three (3) years working experience in records management;
Bachelors’ Degree in Information Science / Library Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and
Must be a citizen of Kenya.
Key Competencies and Skills
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent organizing skills;
Must be a team player; and
Proficiency in Computer applications.
