Job Function: Maintain accounts payable transactions and support the administration requirements of the business.
Professionally support the Finance functions in compliance with client, customer, and all regulatory authorities’ requirements.
Administration
Consumables Management (stationery and warehouse consumables i.e. cartons tapes, etc.)
Managing and maintaining office and operational equipment.
Quality Assurance
Comply with relevant finance and general SOP
Assist in internal and external audits
Finance Operations
Purchase Orders Capture
Kenya AP Invoice capturer/Matching payments posting
Supplier statements reconciliation.
Statutory compliance and Returns.
Client Billing and Invoicing and Receipts capture.
Petty cash management.
Pricing and Discounts/Bonus set up.
Financial Credits and Debits.
Qualifications required
Bachelor’s Degree in commerce/ Finance/ Administration/Business Management.
Preferred Qualified accountant – CPA K / ACCA
Good IT and Excel skills.
Good verbal and written communication plus excellent telephonic skills.
Negotiation and administrative skills.
Initiative – To originate action beyond what is called for to achieve goals, self-starting.
Excellent organizational and time-management (planning and monitoring) skills.
Ability to work with other team members in achieving common goals.
Quality of Work – Meets the established
standards for work performance.
Actively participate and reflect interest towards achieving the overall Company goals.
Customer Service – Understands and responds effectively to the needs of customers inside and outside the organization.
