Finance in Motion is a global impact asset manager focused exclusively on sustainable development in low and middle-income countries.

The company develops and advises impact investment funds whose blended finance structures bring together public and private investors to address climate change, strengthen biodiversity conversation, foster the sustainable use of natural resources, improve livelihoods, and promote economic opportunities.

Over the course of its operations, Finance in Motion has unleashed a cumulative total of over EUR 5 billion toward these goals in Southeast Europe, the Caucasus, Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa.

In addition to investment activities, the funds also provide technical assistance to support investees, foster responsible finance, and maximize impact in the countries they serve.

Since its foundation in 2009, the company has consistently recorded year-on-year growth and expanded into new regions and topics. Due to this ongoing success, Finance in Motion is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities

• Provide top quality code in the development of a large multi-tier web application

• Contribute to the technology selection for secure and scalable solutions

• Bring in advanced SW development skills and enrich the knowledge base by sharing past experiences and by contributing into the ongoing SW development projects

• Provide high quality in coding and technical documentation on the projects developed

What we expect:

• Sufficient, relevant professional experience in software development

• Proficiency both on .NET MVC and .NET Core Frameworks

• Good expertise in front end development - the technologies required are AngularJs, TypeScript and JavaScript. Knowledge of Angular will be an added

advantage

• Working experience with CD/CI frameworks, DevOps concepts and Azure Pipelines

• Good knowledge of Html 5, CSS3 and Bootstrap

• Experience in database design and development is a strong advantage – preferred DBMS are MySQL and MSSQL

• Experience in reporting frameworks, “Active Reports” framework will be an added advantage

• Proven experience in complex system design for large SW development projects

• A keen eye for quality and attention to detail in code development

• Creative, self-motivating and self-organized attitude

• Stress-resistant, working well and efficient under tight deadlines

• Good and reliable team-player

• Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
