Job DetailsHandicap International Federation, which implements its programs under its operational name "Humanity & Inclusion" is recruiting for its "Ubuntu care" project a Child Protection Officer within the framework of a salaried position on a fixed-term contract, with a trial period of 3 months.
Job Description
to the Ubuntu Care Project Manager, the child protection officer is responsible for implementing the activities of the Ubuntu Care project in his area.
More specifically he / she will be responsible for:
• Implementation of project activities
• Capacity building
• Case management
• Community sensitization and awareness raising
• Monitoring, evaluation and report writing
• Implementation of the administrative aspect
• Child protection policy / risk management policy of HI and Duterimbere NGO
Job Skills
• At least 3 years of experience in an international or national NGO working in the field of child protection, violence based on gender, age or disability,
• Prior experience in the work and support of vulnerable children is essential
• Experience in project monitoring and evaluation is essential
• Experience in technical support for key actors intervening in the field of child protection, gender-based violence, and / or disability is essential
Skills
• Perfect mastery of key concepts of child protection 'child, Gonder Based Violence.
• Have strong skills in training and capacity building
• Have skills in monitoring and evaluation in a participatory manner
• Be excellent in the preparation of written reports in French and / or English.
• Very good knowledge of Word, Excel, power point
• Ability to represent
HI and maintain good relations with local authorities and partners
• Have experience in advocacy.
• Have practical knowledge in human resources management policy, and child protection policy for better protection against all forms of abuse and sexual exploitation.
