Job Description

Objective of the position:

It is to make the construction works effective by preparing Electro-mechanical documents, carrying out research, inspecting and controlling the works done.

Results and functions of the position

Preparation of Electro-Mechanical design for complex construction works.

Prepares Electro-mechanical (HVAC system, Medical system, lift system etc) designs and specifications for complex construction works;

Cross check, correct design prepared by junior Electro-mechanical Engineer.

Follow, crosscheck, correct design prepared by consultants.

Prepares a tender document that includes technical information and specifications and follows construction regulations.

Monitors the execution of construction and maintenance works in accordance with the design and submits a report to the relevant party.

Develops contract management and technical requirements that enable better selection and deliver the quality of work to the desired level;

Advance payment and after the work is done, takes the appropriate measure for payment requests and prepares and submits a payment certificate based on the one provided by the contractor.

Study of Electro-mechanical works and inspection of completed works.

Performs the Electro-mechanical and design studies required for the construction sites;

Studies, investigates and makes recommendations for decision-making on the appropriateness of work completion time extensions, price likes and claims, as well as change work requests.

Analyzes and presents the Electro-mechanical works that need maintenance and renovation.

Studies the amount of budget required before starting project work.

Controlling that construction works are being carried out according to the contract.

Monitors, evaluates and reports on the technical performance of construction projects;

Monitors and supervises that construction works are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, standards and implementation guidelines.

When the construction is completed, the first and final phase will be handed over.

Ensures the implementation of tender, construction monitoring, quality control and tender management and payment checklists;

Prepares construction bids and contract documents for contractors based on government procurement guidelines and regulations.

Reviews contractors' construction bid documents;

He also answers when there is a complaint from the bidders.

Prepare the contract document and sign the contract and do the site handover with the contractors.

Monitors and verifies project completion schedules, construction resources and financial action plans;

Checks and verifies time extensions, work changes and other issues submitted by consultants and contractors;

Identify and provide solutions to problems encountered in construction project process or contract management;

Checks and verifies payment documents of contractors related to Electro-mechanical works ;

Monitors the implementation of the

Resolves issues related to Electro-mechanical project contract management;

Ensures that overdue projects are reviewed in accordance with regulations;

The complexity of the work

The work requires the preparation of contract management documents, the study of Electro-mechanical engineering works, inspection and supervision of construction works.

During the execution of these activities, there are problems such as the increase in the price of construction materials, contractors not completing their work within the scheduled time limit, and the lack of legality of documents during the contract period.

These problems will be solved by requesting price compensation according to the regulations, by ensuring that construction materials are completed, by verifying the legality of documents and by closely monitoring them.

Working independently

The manner in which the work is performed -The work will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the approved project plans, construction law.

The level of supervision and support required by the work - The work will be evaluated by the supervisor as a result of maintaining the appropriate level of quality

Duration of Position: One year with possibility of extension subject to performance

Salary: As per the MoF salary for Project staff scale

Job Requirements

Required qualifications and experience

BSc Electro-Mechanical /Mechanical Engineering with 8 year work experience in Electro-Mechanical /Mechanical Engineering works.
