Description The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Social Safety Net Project (NASSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the engagement of a Programme Coordinator for the National Cash Transfer Office.
The Programmme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day project management specifically linked to administration / implementation of the cash transfers, Top-ups and livelihoods. This will include annual work plans, budget, training plans, procurement plans, M & E, grievances, technical support to states, and stakeholder engagement.
The National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO), now invites eligible Candidates to express their interest in providing this service. Interested candidates should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience.
Requirements
To be eligible, the Candidate must include / meet the following minimum criteria:
Advanced University Degree (minimum of M.Sc) in one or more of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Social Sciences, Finance, Art or fields relevant to International Development
Civil servant of not less than a Deputy Director or its equivalent in the private or International donor agencies / NGOs
Minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years working experience with World Bank-funded projects, Financial institution, social protection or cash transfer programmes
Demonstrated experience in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation large scale national social protection programs and operations and associated delivery mechanism
Skill cross-cutting issues such as gender and social inclusion issues, climate change and environment, etc.
Strong collaboration skill with other stakeholders involved in similar operations.
