An agricultural firm with operations in Rongai, Kajiado and Malindi seeks to recruit for the position of Farm Supervisor.

  • Diploma

  • 2 years

    Job Description

  • Supervisor shall be responsible for keeping workers on task and managing the workforce / recruitment of the same.
  • Ensuring the fruits and vegetables are properly grown, harvested, and distributed.
  • Farm supervisor will have to work in the fields with their crews to ensure proper farm practices are carried out.
  • Be responsible for Scheduling, Budgeting and Record Keeping.
  • Be responsible for the Farm inputs and Inventory
  • Work hand in hand with the Farm Consultant and Agronomists

    Qualification and competencies required

  • A Diploma, preferably any Agricultural field is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a farm Supervisor
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of farming
  • Ability to work unsupervised
    Self-driven, energetic, creative, persuasive, confident and a persistent individual
  • Be willing to travel between the various farm operations in Malindi and Kajiado area.
  • Be able to live on the farm as necessary
    Remuneration will be fixed amount + Incentive pay based on farm production target achievement.
