They seek to hire a Loans Administrator who will be the internal interface between the loan recipients, the financial service providers (FSPs) and the company . Your responsibilities will encompass; liaising with financial service providers to manage loan applications, processing loan documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal programme policies, providing customer services to clients and loan book custodianship.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding:

  • Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.

  • Verify applicants information to determine programmatic alignment and creditworthiness.

  • Process loan applications and ensure timely completion of loan approvals.

    Loan Management and Debt Collection:

  • Development of loan contracts

  • Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and correspondence

  • Monitor and track loan payments ensuring timely payments by borrowers

  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of loan files to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop debt collection strategies

  • Assist the investments lead with sourcing of deals, financial modeling and presentation of investment memos to the investment committee.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Manage relationships with entrepreneurs, creative enterprises, financial institutions, investment committees and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with consortium partners, external collaborators, community organizations, and other stakeholders associated with the program to strengthen coordination and cooperation in investment activities across various components of the program

    Risk Management:

  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks associated with investments.

  • Stay abreast
    of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to inform risk assessments.

    Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive loan reports to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting, adhering to regulatory standards.

    Required Specifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in using loan management software

  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess investment opportunities and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Previous experience working with the creative industries or similar sectors is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact and sustainable development.
