Fanisi HR Solutions Finance Officer Jobs in Kenya; Our client is in the Testing, Inspection, Certification (TIC) and Quality Assurance industry. Theirservices primarily focus on food safety, environmental monitoring, industrial testing, and
compliance auditing, making them a key player in regulatory compliance, quality control, and
risk management across various sectors. They seek to hire a Finance Officer who will
oversee financial activities within the company. He/She will be crucial in providing strategic
financial guidance to senior management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements,
and driving financial performance to achieve organizational goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial operations, functions, and systems.

2. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.

3. Provide financial analysis, insights, and accurate reports for decision-making.

4. Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

5. Monitor liquidity, financial risks, and performance metrics.

6. Lead, manage, and coordinate with the finance team.

7. Coordinate with auditors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.

8. Maintain financial records, systems, and compliance with controls.

9. Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes.

10. Prepare, review, approve, and sign off on financial statements, transactions, and filings.

11. Manage tax compliance, banking relationships, and financial risk.

12. Stay updated
on financial regulations and represent the finance department.

Required Qualifications:

1. Must have Professional certification (CPA-K, CFA)

2. At-least 5 years of experience in the services industry or Manufacturing industry in a
similar capacity.

3. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics and strategic management is an added advantage.

4. Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a leadership role.

5. Strong in developing financial strategies, internal controls and tax management

6. Proven experience in investment management.

7. Proficient in Quick books, Zoho and financial packages

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with
stakeholders at all levels.
