Family Media Communication Assistant Jobs in Kenya; Family Media is seeking an experienced and creative Communication Assistant who will be working closely with the Television, Radio, digital departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

*Oversee and coordinate the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive experience.

*Compile, maintain, and distribute client logs, reports, and relevant documentation as needed.

*Track and follow up the collection of outstanding payments to ensure timely processing.

*Liaise with internal teams to ensure client mentions, advertisements, and promotions are scheduled and executed as per the order form.

Marketing & Brand Awareness

*Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and strengthen the company’s reputation.

*Coordinate and manage company merchandise for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and corporate branding efforts

Event Planning & Coordination

*Plan, organize, and oversee company events, ensuring all logistics and execution run smoothly.

*Represent the company at events, conferences, and networking opportunities, serving as a spokesperson when required.

Sales & Business Development

*Assist the sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and promotional efforts to drive business growth.

*Collaborate on sales strategies and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and maximize revenue opportunities.

Customer Engagement & Support

*Handle and respond to audience inquiries,
feedback, and requests across various communication channels.

*Ensure timely, professional, and customer-focused responses to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.

Administrative Duties

*Supplies Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, process orders, and ensure the timely receipt of office and promotional supplies.

*Documentation & Meeting Coordination: Attend meetings, take minutes, track action items, and maintain organized records of important documents

Requirements and skills

*Minimum 2 years experience in public relations and marketing.

*Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

*Have experience in event planning and account management

*BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
