Fairlawns Primary School

Fairlawns Primary School; I am a parent at Fairlawns Public primary School in Kiambu County Kikuyu District, KARI location.

The school has been charging school fees in disguise of upkeep amounting to about Kshs 10,000 annually. As if that is not enough on 1st September when the schools opened, the headteacher locked about 50 pupils who had arrears of the upkeep in a hall the whole day when other pupils were learning.

Now in this era of free and compulsory primary education in public schools is that allowed. The parents are contemplating on taking the head teacher to court.
