  • Fairfield Commodities Ltd is the official distributor for Engen Lubricants.

  • We are looking for a Sales Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire.

  • Sales Assistant duties include selling, processing of invoices and cashiering.

  • The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation. .

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

    • Ascertain customers’ needs and wants

    • Recommend to management any new product requirements

    • Welcome and greet customers

    • Manage point-of-sale processes

    • Actively involved in keeping customers informed of any changes

    • Keep up to date with product information

    • Accurately describe product features and benefits

    • Follow all companies policies and procedures

    • Prepare daily sales summary

    Requirements

    • Proven working experience in wholesale and retail sales

    • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

    • Customer service focus

    • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

    • Basic administration skills

    • Conversant with Microsoft Excel and Point of Sale software
