Our client based in Nairobi, Kenya is a company in the FMCG industry looking for highly motivated, ambitious and self driven candidates to fill the following position:

Exports Sales Manager

Basic Function: The Exports Sales Manager will be expected to deliver sales growth in the various identified market segments.

Principal Account-abilities

  • Managing personnel and developing export sales and export sales support staff.
  • Reviewing progress of export sales roles throughout the organization.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams for the organization.
  • Developing specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Providing quarterly results assessments of export sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Assisting export sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers.
  • Educates export sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

    Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a
    business related field or any other relevant field.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a managerial position. Exports Sales Experience is added advantage.
  • IT skills.
  • Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manager well at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt interpersonal style to suit different people or situations.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving skills
