Job Description

Duties

Electrical design and development of machines. From proof of concept, to prototype to production ready versions. This includes stress testing, collecting and analysing data and writing reports

Software development for PLCs, HMIs, microcontrollers, microprocessors and cloud services used in machines, IoT platforms and data analytics

Manage and commission large process plant installations

Provide support and assistance with breakdowns and upgrades

Assist chemists and food scientists with product development by process optimisations

Servo motor motion controlled machine using Delta PLCs, VSDs, servo drives and HMIs as well as Allen Bradley

Using a variety of programmable internet gateways linked to AWS, machine data is collected and processed. This includes OEE, predictive maintenance, downtime tracking, production data, all measured process variables, VSD and servo drive operational data. Integrated security system using QR codes

Requirements

3 - 5 years’ experience

Advanced computer skills, in particular excel or MS Office

Willingness to work overtime/weekends

Will be required to travel internationally

Customer centric

Qualifications

Mechatronics Engineering Qualification is essential

Knowledge & Experience

Electrical design and development of machines are essential

PLC and HMI Programming specifically on DELTA and Allen Bradley equipment

Field Wiring

Commissioning

Electrical and electronic drawings
