Maintenance

  • Do risk analysis on plant equipment

  • Implement and optimise preventative maintenance program for multi-disciplinary equipment

  • Investigate and analyse reasons for OEE losses and implement cost effecting means for eliminating the losses

  • Assist in designing new plant for optimum reliability

  • Audits to determine level of adherence to company technical standards

  • Assist in defining scope of works for equipment for long term planning

  • Assist in managing quality of work

  • Develop and update technical standards for optimum reliability

  • Safety and Health

  • Ownership of safety

  • Regular audits of maintenance to check legal compliance

    People

  • Regular and active knowledge sharing of best practices

    Training of people on best practices

    Administration

  • Regular reports on plant OEE performance

  • Regular report on RCFA’s

  • Regular reports on reliability KPI’s

  • Develop and review technical standards

    Experience

    (Minimum Required to Perform the Job)

  • 5 years exposure in a technical/Industrial environment.

  • 2 years experience in asset management

    Experience in a pulp and paper mill is advantageous

  • Skills required as an advantage

  • PC literacy – MS Office and Project

  • SAP – PM (Plant maintenance) & MM (Materials Management)

  • RCFA tools

  • Condition Monitoring system
