Job Description

Qualification/Requirements


  • 10 years’ experience in the sales of heavy mining equipment or parts with at least 5 years at management level.

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Computer literate

  • Willing to travel when required.

    Responsibilities

  • Solid technical background in the mining sector

  • ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization’s operations and strategic planning of the services and parts department

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission

  • Help exceed company sales and operations goals

  • Develops and implement operations procedures and guidelines to ensure that client repair, service, orders and installations are done in a professional and timely manner to ensure solid profit margins

  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Services

  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared towards operational excellence

  • Interact with Key Account customers if issues arise that need escalation and work with customer groups to ensure all service needs are met

  • Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments as required Provide regular status reports and gather requirements from departments and provide input into the infrastructure products that are bought or serviced

  • Interact with customers at a technical level, as required

  • Must be willing to travel.
