Job Description
Introduction This position is the MEA ITO shared services lead role required to manage the I.T. operations & infrastructure in the SSA region (plus all remote/satellite sites)
Purpose of the Role
Ensure continuous operations are maintained at all company sites to agreed OLAs.
Managed Data Centres, rooms, and all shared services infrastructure adhering to all governance & controls (ISP) guidelines.
Study network topologies, understand design and engage global teams for changes/extensions/decommissioning.
Review VM farms and related infrastructure to maximize utilization whilst maintaining the agreed uptime.
Coordinating global and local teams to drive deployments, upgrades, tech-refreshes, and general support.
Utilize business acumen to drive investment decisions and to minimize operational outages.
Execute all projects using -standard Project management processes.
Consistently revamp processes using industry standard business process reengineering skills thereby ensuring work is done efficiently whilst remaining effective.
Manage financials (plans, budgets, forecast, etc. so as to maximize investments ensuring that capacity is available in time and targets achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Interface to local business as the shared services lead.
Manage IT operational support for all infrastructure issues, incidents & requests.
Support Global & Regional Operations teams in the identification, diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
Lead problem and root cause analysis.
Provide timely & accurate communications on ITO outages & maintenance.
Consistently monitor & manage all IT Infrastructure, intervene as necessary.
Perform comprehensive asset & spares management across all sites.
Provide project leadership/support as agreed/necessary, all site projects.
Plan & execute
asset tech-refresh actions in alignment to global standards.
Manage procurement, deployment and return/scrapping of owned/leased infrastructure.
Provide frequent management reports on shared services.
Coordinate/support implementation of Patch/Version upgrades to maintain infrastructure.
Plan/support proposed infrastructure/application changes/upgrades through relevant change control.
Manage H&S issues, access control reviews, and environmental audits for Data Center/Computer Rooms, ISO & GAO audits, etc..
Maintain governance & controls on shared infrastructure.
Conduct shared services supplier SLA performance & Conformance reviews whilst managing vendor relationships. Ensure services are relevant and are compliant.
Ensure appropriate use of company IT processes, tools and methodologies.
Contribute/lead financial inputs for all shared services.
Minimum experience & qualifications required
Education Qualification :
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline
Master''s degree with experience in working in a related technical field is desirable
Number of Years of Experience:
Minimum of 6 years

Hands on experience with modern facilities and major infrastructure expansion projects.
Mature OEM business acumen.
Seasoned project management skills.

Solid understanding of financials (plans, budgets, forecasts, etc.
Strong emotional intelligence.
Proven analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.
Critical problem solving techniques especially during adverse situations.
Self-starter and highly motivated; Uses sound business judgment. Inquisitive and innovative.
Willingness to work in multiple countries.
