Dealership Accountant

Bramley, Johannesburg

+/- R50 000 pm + Company Car, Medical Aid & Provident Fund

A reputable and highly successful Motor Dealership is seeking an experienced and figure orientated Accountant to join their ever-growing team.

The perfect candidate for this position must hold at least 10 years’ experience in Dealership Accounting and must have managed a team of +/- 10 administrative staff within their department previously.

Key Performance areas

Time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

The ability to liaise with multiple people from inside and outside the business, have excellent communication skills and be able to address people at all levels of the business.

Significant experience in Car Dealership Accountancy and a proven track record within the motor industry.

An excellent understanding of using Accounting IT Packages such as Pinnacle, Kerridge or similar.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

Matric Certificate.

A valid driver’s License.

An excellent track record

A Degree or Diploma relevant to Accounting, Bookkeeping or Financial Management is essential.

Must hold at least 10 years’ experience Accounting within the Motor Industry

Automotive Software experience

Financial Reporting

Duties

Account processes

Financial analysis and reporting
Budgets

Corporate governance, compliance, and audits

Financial systems and databases

Respond to account queries.

Training and leadership of another financial employees on systems and processes
