Job Description

Under the direct supervision and the technical support from the respiratory/arbovirus diseases surveillance and response case team the employee will perform different laboratory tests, undergo laboratory based respiratory viral diseases outbreak investigation, surveillance and response activities

Roles and Responsibility

Conduct laboratory tests using different methods to viral diseases

Prepare and share reports to the next level

Provide and facilitate training, supportive supervision and review meetings in areas of respiratory viral diseases.

Development and standardization of guidelines/SOPs/case definitions/reporting formats/brushes/leaflets

Strengthening surveillance system for viral diseases

Develop laboratory SOPs, quality and safety manuals

Participate in conducting timely outbreak investigation and response

Involve in RRTs to quickly detect and respond any viral diseases outbreaks through trainings and exercises

Conduct laboratory-based viral diseases surveillance

Job Requirements

Experiences in molecular and ELISA methods is desirable

Effective in communication, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skill

Ability to meet deadlines; work independently and cooperatively with team members.

Experience in COVID-19 testing labs is desirable
