Overall rolesThe Nurse or health officer is expected to conduct basic check of individuals at port of entry to ensure that they don’t exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19.
S/he is also expected to take proper action as advised by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health and Ethiopian Public Health Institute when encountering suspected cases within the staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating& Leading AA HBIC implementation
Coordinating, facilitation& implementation of HBIC to the woreda level
Collect report from all sub cities
Coordinate referral linkage + Ambulance management between sub cities and with the National Team
Report daily to National HBIC Unit
Strengthening the pre-hospital service on a regional level for COVID-19 response.
Regional referral service strengthening for COVID-19 response.
Regional clinical case follow up management for COVID-19 Home based isolation and care.
Job Requirements
Education Qualification requirement
Medical Doctor/ General MPH 4 and 6 years work experience respectively.
Required Skill & Experience
Highly qualified and accomplished, outcome oriented medical and/or public health professional with experience in Emergency scenarios.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Organized, able to prioritize and work independently
