Job SummaryThe Finance Officer will be responsible to support the EPHI finance team in accounting system, budget tracking and expenditure projections, expense monitoring and financial reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of bank reconciliation, monthly payroll including withholding and payment of the necessary taxes to the authorities.
Prepare monthly consolidation of all project accounts and entry of regional financial data into accounting system.
Assist in the coordination of the year-end audit, preparations of monthly fund balance statements, preparation of monthly cash flow requests, including making accruals of severance, vacation and other leaves in coordination with Administrative Officer.
Coordinate per diem and other workshop/training related payments and reporting to Finance director.
Preparation of financial reports.
Provide Financial and budgetary support to the technical teams during the annual work plan.
Establish and maintain all HaSET program financial files and ledgers.
Responsible for setting and overseeing the accounting of HaSET program finance in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP) and EPHI regulations
Ensures that the monthly close-out of HaSET program accounts are completed as per the predetermined schedule.
Perform any other duties as allocated by finance directorate which are in line with the general concept of this position.
Job Requirements
● Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and 10 years’ experience orMaster of Arts in Accounting and 8years’ experience in financial management
●Good communication skills
●Proficient in relevant computer applications and databases
●Ability to juggle multiple tasks and willingness to take initiative
●Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
