Main Roles and ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage all financial activities of the association; oversee the function of Finance for the association; prepare monthly, quarterly, mid-year and yearly financial reports (such as Income statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.,); review the financial statements prepared by the accountants;
prepare draft accounts under IFRS and work with Statutory auditors in getting the accounts audited independently;
ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, processes and standards of the group; operate, maintain and safe keep a suitable database (accounting software), when implemented;
ensure that the accounts and accounting records including GL / Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable and all other ledgers /sub ledgers are well kept, up to date and reconciled;
safeguard the Company’s financial resources (including cash and bank balances);
Co-ordination with both Internal & External auditors;
liaise with Government authorities regarding Taxes and other Government Dues and file monthly, yearly and other periodical returns with the Government;
check and authorize all payments; prepare budgets as and when requested.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum BA degree in Accounting and Finance and related fields.
At least 5 years’ experience in the areas of financial accounting, financial management and financial reporting of organizations;
Excellent Computer Skills in working with Spreadsheets and accounting packages;
