ObjectivesThe radio program and spot announcements are expected to:Aware persons with disabilities on their Sexual and Reproductive Health rights
Aware the community on the vulnerability of persons with disabilities to Gender Based Violence, on the existing challenges to include persons with disabilities in Sexual and Reproductive Health Service Provision and strategies to prevent risk factors for Gender Based Violence of persons with disabilities and provide disability inclusive sexual and reproductive health services
Urge and encourage stakeholders to provide disability inclusive SRH services
Targeted Audience’s
Persons with physical, hearing, visual and intellectual impairments
The community and care givers of persons with disabilities
Decision makers and health service providers
Stakeholders who are involved fighting Gender Based Violence
Expected Outputs
A weekly one-hour radio program that lasts for ten weeks discussing on various relevant topics, partly mentioned in this call, with vital participation of persons with various types of disabilities
Two spot announcement productions and transmissions, each being 45 seconds long
Job Requirements
Eligibility: Required Capacity and
Skills Companies as well as individuals having the following competencies/skills and capacities are eligible to apply for this short-term service:
Profound knowledge on disability and disability inclusion.
Strong experience in making radio productions and spot announcements, preferably on disability and disability inclusion on FM radios in Amharic and Tigrigna languages for Addis Ababa, Amhara Regional State, Tigray Regional State, SNNPR, and Sidama Regional State).
Have a valid license and vat certificate
Are committed to meet the deadlines, are equipped with enough resources and qualified professionals to make necessary logistical arrangements and accomplish the work.
