Job summary

The Electrician is responsible for all maintenance works in the hatchery and farm. The main objectives of the position is to ensure effective and efficient work of all Electrical, plumbing, machines(Generators, water pumps and Air conditioners),repair of building electrical installation by coordinating of the team and his involvement.

The maintenance activity performed with the procedures, schedules and guides given by the manager, also needed that his experience in Electrical industrial in Control /drive, Installation, Generator etc. He/She communicate with the production in order to make smooth the operation.

Then by doing this he/she assure to fulfill the operation requirements to maximize production. These all are done based on maintenance procedures and company policy.

Areas of Responsibility to include(But not Limited)

1. Follow all rules, procedures and policies of the company for maintenance operation.

2. Use all rules and procedures given by the maintenance operation, as long as required.

3. Coordinate the team according the procedures set by maintenance department.

4. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

5. Make effective maintenance of Building Electrical installation, machine maintenance, and equipment maintenance.

6. Coordinates renovation of existing facilities and construction of new facilities as requests raised and order given by the maintenance manager.

7. Make the down time of machine, equipment, utilities and facilities in an optimum working condition.

8. Execute the preventive maintenance and other maintenance activities according the given scheduled.

9. Keep records for utilization of spare parts, material consumed and maintenance records.

10. Follow up daily maintenance works and assign work for the team.

11. Give leave for the team in consulting of the manager.

12. Perform performance evaluation for team.

13. Responsible for completing all data where applicable for closing work orders daily after delivery to production and their sign for acceptance.

14. Willing to be on-call and open his phone cell all time and in case of Emergency.

15. Execute related duties as given by the manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrates functional knowledge of Electrical installation system, machine maintenance (Generators, Electrical pumps, Cooling systems and Equipment), and repair of plumbing system.

Demonstrates functional knowledge of the safety precautions of the maintenance works.

Skill of working with and coordinating teams.

Ability to meet and deal with team employee, and Internal/External customers.

Ability to read and understand drawing's of Electrical, plumbing systems.

Ability to install inspects, repair and maintain the electrical installation, plumbing, and other related systems of the farm.

Ability to inspect, operate and maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation system and Generator follow up.

Knowledge of tools and material handling properly, and lead the team to follow.

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.

The skill to services Generators and electrical machines.

Through knowledge of the hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.

Ability to follow maintenance procedures work orders and made records after maintenance executions.

Physical ability and flexibility to perform duties and responsibilities of the job.

10+3 Diploma, Level-3 and above

Degree

2. Professional/Area of study/

Electrical Technology

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Industrial control drive, and in other related fields

3. Experience

Above 3 years for Diploma

2 years and above for Degree
