Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the IT Support Intern are:

Maintain the computer networks of all types of organisations, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly

Monitor and maintain the company computer systems, install, and configure hardware and software, and solve technical issues as they arise.

Resolving IT support requests from employees

Answering employee questions regarding computer systems

Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems

Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues

Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed

Updating employees on the status of their service requests

Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed

Requirements

Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Computer Science or related course

Knowledgeable about the use and maintenance of computers

Good communication and people relations skills.

Brilliant negotiation skills.
