ERC Hotline Operator Jobs Kenya
Reporting to Principal Corporate Communications Officer, the successful candidate will work under the supervision of a senior officer and will assist in management A communication with external and internal customers, including branding and development of communication and branding strategy, policies and plans.
Responsibilities
Managing ERC switchboard;
Handling Al incoming AN and directing them A the respective officers;
Handling Al outgoing calls;
Receiving visitors;
Determining nature and purpose A visit;
Directing or escorting Visitors to appropriate officer/person and notify appropriate person of visitors’ arrival;
Independently answer inquiries and provides in or assistance to callers and visitors, which require thorough knowledge of office policies and procedures;
Observing the flow of visitors for security purposes in restricted areas in liaison with security personnel;
Questioning unfamiliar visitors to determine or obtain authorization to enter area;
Monitor, schedule or observe arrivals and departures of work work members to remain current on status of each;
Reporting any suspicious or questionable behavior, that may be detrimental to the organization;
Ensuring that the reception ambiance is good;
Preparing weekly report on the reception area happenings;
Filing and maintaining records of reception reports;
Provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices and employees within the organization; and
Report needed repairs within the reception area.
Qualifications
KCSE Certificate C PLAIN;
Diploma in Customer care or equivalent;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Positive working attitude and ability to give and take instruction;
Creativity and innovativeness;
Interpersonal skills including being a team play,
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Oral / written communication skills; and
Problem solving.
Other Requirements
Shortlisted candidates will be required to satisfy the requirements
of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and provide:
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (-IELB);
Tax compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
Report from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Terms of Employment
The positions of Pricing Analyst, Electricity Officer (Meters & Metering) and Electricity Officer (Consumer Installations) will be filled on permanent and pensionable terms of service. The rest of the positions will be on contract terms of service.
