Equity Bank Corporate Credit Risk Analyst Job Opportunities in Kenya
Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Corporate Credit Risk, the Credit Analyst at Equity Bank Limited (K) will serve as a loan analyst for borrowing
requests from branches/corporate credit and subsidiaries. This will include conducting the credit risk analysis and review of credit
transactions and preparation of loan sanction write-ups and summaries along with recommendations and present the same to
the credit committees.
Responsibilities
Complete a thorough, in-depth analysis of new credit requests, credit change requests, renewals and restructure and make recommendation to respective committees. This involves ensuring acceptable risk levels are maintained, compliance with the Bank’s Credit Policy and CBK prudential guidelines. Identification of areas of weaknesses during
credit analysis and mitigating credit risk appropriately for strong cases which are outside policy.
Structure credit solutions for the clients and ensuring the appropriateness of the products.
Review of treasury limits from different banks & other corporate bodies for presentation to approving authority.
Achieve Turn-Around-Times (TATs) as per agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for assessment of Credit Applications referred to Credit Risk from branches and subsidiaries.
Maintain a good working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy.
Ensure a consistent approach in assessing loan applications by developing/reviewing relevant risk assessment templates for use by the business
Qualifications
Able to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and stressful situations.
Must be able to understand financial data (Balance Sheets,Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Ratios, etc.) and apply those skills as they pertain to the loan
underwriting process.
Must be organised, efficient and able to work independently and be detail oriented in order to generate accurate reports.
Attention to detail is key: Regard for all important details to assure accuracy in every transaction performed; detect errors;
follow through on corrections and details.
Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritise
tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent knowledge of general procedures and policies as well as banking practices and regulations.
Principled and self-confident.
A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field from a recognised university. Holders of relevant professional qualifications will have an added advantage.
At least 8 years’ experience in credit of which 5 years must be in Credit Risk Analysis

Job Description
Reporting to GM-Digital and Social Media, the multi-media graphic designer will be responsible for supporting various business functions of the Bank through planning,
developing and producing print and electronic media artworks, motion graphics and animations that connect with the respective target audience. The role holder will also be required to be conversant with industry
trends and
familiar with standard graphic design software
Responsibilities
Create overall layout and design for print and electronic
media in adherence to brand guidelines
Conceptualise, design and creatively package commercials, marketing promos, adverts and editorial products
Design and produce materials – both digital and print – including signage, brochures, web pages, posters, wallpapers, displays advertisements and more
Create 2D and 3D model animations as well as motion graphics and execute as briefed
Create storyboards that depict scripts and
narratives as per business briefs
Create motion graphics for our in-house displays. These include sponsor animations, logo treatments, opens, headshots, etc
Provide creative concepts as well as make sound recommendations to improve corporate branding using graphics
Organise and prioritise work and meet strict deadlines
Work closely with the advertising department to create and manage designs from concept through to final deliverables
Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention on detail
Execute and manage production of communications deliverables Translate project concepts into digital media deliverables
Ensure graphic solutions are optimised for integration, performance, usability and sustainability
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in one or more of the following areas: Media Arts, Animation, Broadcasting, Video Production, graphics Design, Journalism and Communication or related field
Minimum of three years’ experience in design production
Passionate and creative artist with a knack for storytelling and attention to detail and with a portfolio/ showreel that showcases this
Competence in industry-standard 2D and 3D software such as Flash, 3DS Max, Maya, LightWave, Softimage, After Effects and Cinema 4D a plus
Proficient in graphic design tools, specifically Adobe CS (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other
design software
Knowledge of CSS, HTML, hands-on experience
of content management systems. Skills in HTML5,
XHTML/CSS, PHP and JavaScript will be an
added advantage
Excellent knowledge in multimedia designs for both print and digital
Ability to keep current with emerging design trends and technologies
Highly time sensitive, respect for planning and tight deadlines, able to cope with pressure and fast paced environment
Strong adaptation skills, result driven, flexible, and strong communication skills
Good work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit to innovate and thrive in a demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Good at taking briefs and understanding requirements
Loves being part of a creative team and collaborating with design leads
