Environment Educationist

I recently completed my M.ed in science education and majored in environment education I also hold a B.ed in secondary education majoring in chemistry and biology.
I will be 43 years old this september and I have a work experience of close to 20years in the field of education. I have the zeal to study for a Phd in environment especailly in the field of sustainabilty.
This year I want to start developing my proposal so that by the end of the year I have some thing on paper. Currently am working with my supervisor who saw me through my masters. My only problem is I do not have the funds to see me through the Phd program and I have tried to look at what this site has been offering but I seem not to see any scholarships in my field of interest.
So my request is to help me get networked to anybody out there who we could work with for me to realise my ambition. I do voluntary work in support of the conservation of the environment. My dissertation was mainly dealing with the management and conservation of wetlands in Uganda and how the land tenure systems affect the process.
Currently am also an E-learning enthusiast and its an area I would like to develop especially the integration of ICT in the teaching of science. so if I could get any leads in that direction I would be grateful.
There will be an E-learning Africa conference in early may this year in Accra Ghana. Its brings together the international community and experts to address the challenges that we face in Africa with use of ICT. Teachers at the school where I work and a number of other teachers were able to attend the first conference in Nairobi last year and we were supported by CIDA but this time round we are still looking for sponsors for us to be able to make a follow up and share our experiences one year down the road.
My hope is that this website may also be of help for travel grants to such conferences those are my queries.
