Job Summary
The region program team leader under the supervision of the Technical Director will be responsible for the over all management and coordination of EngenderHealth’s project/s in the given region.
He/She will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of all project activities in the region.
The regional program team leader will also represent EngenderHealth in relevant regional forums and will ensure the establishment of functioning partnership with all reverent stake holders in the region.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overall management of Engender Heath’s regional office.
Develop annual operations plan for the region and works in close collaboration and partnership with regional governments and partners.
Responsible for day to day project
implementation and coordination at the given region and provides overall support, coaching and guidance to program officers under his/her supervision to ensure proper implementation of project activities.
Produce quarterly and annual progress reports for the activities in the region.
Represent EngenderHealth/Ethiopia in the region.
Job Requirements
First degree in Medicine or Public Health: Medical doctor with program management experience or Public health with clinical RH service provision experience.
Six (6+) years’ experience for first degree and Four (4+) years’ experience for masters in managing and coordinating FP/RH related programs preferable in NGO.
Experience with and understanding of the Regional, Zonal and Woreda level health system.
Travel up to 60% of the time and support other regions as needed
