Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Deputy Director of Revenue in developing and implementing plans andmgoals for the department.

  • Working with the Deputy Director of Revenue to coordinate and supervise daily operations.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

  • In consultation with the Deputy Director of Revenue, designing effective, efficient and secure systems sources/centers, rates and revenue collected.

  • In consultation with the Deputy Director revenue, plan, direct, coordinate and supervise revenue section in the Sub County to ensure the staff collect therevenue and meet the collection targets as set out.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements for appointment

  • Be a holder of Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Masters degree in any of the following: Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is an added advantage.

  • Be registered with professional bodies and in good standing

  • Shown merit and Ability as reflected in work performance and results.
