About Us:

Founded in 2018, Addis Ababa based construction equipment supplier EMAK was established with one goal in mind- to become the leading supplier of quality construction equipment’s and generators and to become a catalyst of growth for the construction industry in Ethiopia.

Serving its city, the company has set up two showrooms in conveniently located areas. The first one on Ethio-china road in Welo sefer and our second showroom location by Atlas in front of Atlas Hotel, where customers can view a selection of products deigned to address all our customers’ needs in the construction sector as well as generators of different brands and models for all other business owners and home owners.

We carry a plethora of items particularly generators, vibrators, rammers, water pumps, hoses, spare parts and more.

With our large inventory and equipment choices: EMAK is committed to helping customers reach their final goals with our products and living up to our reputation of satisfying our customers and meeting their needs.

Position details:

Full-Time

Start date: ASAP

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia near Atlas

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or other related field

Three years or above in mechanical engineering, technical sales & marketing

Practical experience on contract bidding, submitting competitive proposals and bid follow-ups

Ability to engage effectively with customers in and out of the showroom

Willingness and ability to perform door to door sales and bring in work

Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision

Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Amharic

Willingness and ability to work under tight timelines, and flexibility to engage in multiple projects

Desired:

Knowledge of Ethiopian construction sector

Experience and knowledge in generators and other construction equipment’s
