Job PurposeChecks materials and supplies and reports when stock is low.
Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Reviewing receipt bills by suppliers and ensuring their compliance with previously issued purchase orders from the Planning Department in terms of specifications & Quantities before receiving them in stock.
Review the additions and exchange rates and record them on the data entry program.
Review exchange requests with quantities in the store before exchange.
Responsible for housing the raw materials in the warehouse in the designated areas.
Regular supervision of cleanliness and organization in the store and follow-up of the history of the authorities of the materials
Review items that reach the limit of demand and notify the inventory controller and the planning department.
Inventory on Items.
Annual and half-yearly inventory.
Job Requirements
Education
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or equivalent
Years of Experience
At least two years relevant work experience
Computer skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
Technical Skills
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials
Familiar with accounting principles, inventory systems, and storekeeping methods and procedures.
