Eldoret Club Jobs - Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage Vacancies


Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree/ Diploma in hospitality management from a recognized university or catering institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a four star hotel or a medium sized club.
  • Management and Supervisory skills.

    General Responsibilties
  • Assists in the general administration of the Food and Beverage function.
  • Liaison with the Head Cook in respect of menu planning, preparation, presentation and cost analysis
  • Liaison with the Head Barman in respect of the bar and wine list
  • Ensuring that hygienic standards are kept in the kitchen as well as at all club Service areas.
  • Supervision of F&B personnel and assist in the daily and monthly stock-take.
  • Prepare and coordinate duty roster, leave schedules and time cards for F&B personnel.
  • Conduct and coordinate F&B staff training and set standard operating procedures in F&B production and service.
  • Ensure receipt of quality food stuff at all times and put in place proper stock control procedures i.e. (issues, receipts, portioning, and handover/takeover of kitchen store).
  • Put in place systems to ensure no wastage’s, pilferage and breakages are experienced in the F&B department

  • Ability to lead, teach and control staff
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

    The Food and Beverage Manager will report to the club secretary/ Manager on the productivity and operations of the Food and Beverage department, motivate, supervise and provide direction to the staff in the department and ensuring performance reviews are done.
