Education Service Commission Senior Education Officer - Private Schools and Institutions Jobs in Uganda
Qualifications and ExperienceA Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree with post graduate qualifications in Education from a recognized University or Institution;
Possession of a post graduate qualification in Business Administration or Public Administration or Education Management or Development Studies
or Policy and Planning from a recognized University/ institution is an added
advantage;
Must be registered as a graduate teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
At least three (3) years working experience at the level of Education Officer
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Participate in the classification and grading of Private Schools and Training Institutions in collaboration with relevant Technical Departments;
Maintain an up-to-date bank on Private Schools and Training Institutions, staff and student numbers and composition, major training infrastructure, equipment and facilities;
Scrutinize reports of Board of Governors/Management Boards/Management Councils and prepare Management consolidated reports;
Participate in the preparation of performance reports in respect of Private Schools and Training Institutions to relevant authorities;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the relevant authorities.

not later than 6th September 2019.
The ESC Form 3 (1998) is obtainable from the Education Service Commission Offices 1st floor Farmers’ House, Parliament Avenue Kampala or Ministry of Education and Sports Headquarters or District Service Commission offices &
the Commission Website: www.esc.go.ug.
Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should attach photocopies of Academic Certificates and Transcripts plus three recent passports size photograph Serving Officers should attach appointment and confirmation letters and recent pay slips.
Qualifications from only recognized institutions will be considered.
Serving officers Must route their applications through their Heads of Institutions/Departments, who should be advised of the closing date to avoid
delays.
Applications that are not properly routed will not be considered.
