Education Development Center Senior Procurement Officer Jobs in Uganda

The Senior Procurement Manager will manage project procurement and ensure compliance with USAID regulations and EDC policy and procedures in support of project activities at the IGYD project headquarters and 6 zonal offices spread throughout the country.

Duties will include the supervision of the day-to-day procurement functions with particular locus on complex, high-value and critical programmatic procurements such as print materials.

Selected Required Skills

• Master’s degree in a field relevant to Business Administration, Accounting, Social Sciences, or another related ﬁeld.

• A minimum of 8 years of procurement management experience in Uganda including with USAID funded programs;

• Experience in competitive procurement of goods and services required (experience in the administration of subcontracts and purchase. orders strongly preferred).

Applicants for all positions must have excellent written & verbal communication skills ln English, familiarity with internationally-funded projects & experience Working in Uganda.
