Job Description

Ethiopian Catholic University-la-salle (ECUL)/ECUSTA Higher Learning Institute (HLI) is a not-for-profit, full-fledged chartered institution of higher learning under the Ethiopian Catholic Church which is registered with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education under the commission of higher education would like to hire a professional on the following position:

Summary of the Job: The Director designs capacity development strategies, prepare fund raising project proposals, implements strategies for identifying, cultivating and successfully soliciting individuals, corporations and foundations for major gifts to support the University’s current and future priorities and handles stewardship of major gift donors.

Develop communication strategies; Implement the strategy for the continued development of good relations with the international stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification: MA in Development Studies, Business Administration, Management or related field

Experience: Minimum 6 years with solid understanding of the mechanics of campaign/appeal fundraising and experience of working in fundraising within higher education sectors.

Strong persuasive skills and the ability to build effective relationship with a wide range of people is critical.

Terms of Employment: Contract renewable based on performance
