East Africa Bottling S.C, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola beverages Africa, is the sole bottler for Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia. We are very excited to invite qualified candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus for the position of Strategic Business Lead.

The job holder will be responsible to co-develop innovation priorities, investigate areas of concern with current strategies, pursue business development opportunities and support merger & acquisition execution to accelerate value creation.

This role will work with senior management and external stakeholders to research and develop new strategies and vectors. The position reports to the Finance Director.

Key duties and responsibilities are:

Develop and Manage a Project Plan to effectively execute financial opportunities.

Coordinate multi-functional teams to deliver against project objectives.

Develop Strategies and Alternative to overcome any project delays.

Work closely with Head of Strategic Project on direction and timelines.

Work closely within government, exporters and ministries to speed up any document

requirements to effectively export identified categories.

Standardize document and government requirements per category

Identify possible future export opportunities and document requirements including solution to expedite the export opportunity

Supplier Development: Work with suppliers to expand the local supply and identify possible future supplier development and in-sourcing opportunities

Work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that innovation interventions are in support of investing in local businesses

Identify possibly new financial instruments and methods to create ongoing forex flow


Job Requirements

First Degree in Business related fields or LLB in Law with a minimum of 5 years experience in Finance or International Banking.

Experience in managerial role

Exposure in international banking

Exposure in import & export activities

Exposure in new product & business development

Strategic planning skill

Project management skill

Exposure in procurement area

Knowledge of economics & statistical analysis

Understanding of macro & micro regulatory environment

Exposure in dealing with regulatory requirements
