About the Role

The Assurance Associates will be responsible for independently assessing, testing, and reporting on the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls of processes within the department/ organisation.

Person Specifications

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable university.

A Master’s degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.

Must have a professional qualification(s) in accounting such as CPA, ACCA or an equivalent.

Have at least two (2) years’ relevant post-internship work exposure in a financial institution or reputable professional services firm.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and balance workload to complete multiple assignments within deadlines.

Demonstrates integrity and ethical practices while ensuring the organization is not put at reputational risk.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Relationship management and ability to build rapport and create good relationships.

Resilience and ability to maintain momentum when faced with operational challenges, while adapting to a changing environment.
