Dunn and Braxton Limited - Our client is a reputable Construction and Real Estate company located in Victoria Island Lagos.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will act as day-to-day manager on company construction projects (on and off-sites), which may include liaising with third-party stakeholders and managing site facilities.

S/he will be responsible for ensuring successful completion of all company project through the organization & supervision of human & material resources on site. Our ideal candidate should have a proven experience managing project from start to completion.

Responsibilities

Successfully complete projects by organizing and controlling project elements.

Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans

Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.

Checking designs, quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy

Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.

Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best values.

Authorizing technical details and engineering plans.

Drawing up work schedules, POW and communicating any adjustments to team members and management.

Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.

Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.

Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.

Any other projects as may be assigned.

Key Requirements

B.Sc / MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering

5 - 7 years of experience working

in a construction company.

Must be a COREN certified Engineer or a registered member of an Engineering Institute/ Association.

Must be smart, intelligent and well-mannered.

Proficiency in design and project management.

Technical understanding.

Determined work ethic and must be seen to be professional at all times (communication and presentation).

Must be computer literate with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
