Job Description

Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.

Daily supervision of restaurant and it's related operations and menu planning.

Maintaining sanitation standards and striving to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.

Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

Communicate with guests to receive feedback on product quality and service levels and manage complaints.

Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met and encouraging themto provide excellent customer service within guidelines.

Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.

Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Handling customer enquiries and complaints.

Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.

Participate in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.

Job Requirements

A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management.

Excellent Management skill.

Ability to Recognize good quality products and presentations.

Extensive Restaurant, Bar and Kitchen knowledge, with ability to

remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.

Familiarity with restaurant management software.

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.

Acute financial management skills.

Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.

Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities.
