I hold BA, Management and Psychology degree as a combined major with first class honours, of Final cumulative Grade Point average(FCGA) of 3.69 from the university of Ghana, one of the premium university in Ghana .

I am looking for distance learning/online scholarship in PhD,Healthcare Management/Administration in 2012/2013 as family commitment would not allow me to travel abroad.

This degree would enable me to fulfill my dream career as a lecturer. With my background as a tutor having eight years experience in teaching, I believe I am on a right track.

Currently, in most of the Universities one needs to have PhD before he can be a permanent lecturer.

With this PhD degree, I would be able to contribute to the educational sector of my country by way of imparting knowledge to tertiary students who are the future leaders of the country. I would therefore help in the human resource development of the country.

With regards to my academic ability to pursue such a degree, I can confidently say I am fully prepared. I am very hardworking, determined and fond of challenging task.

My academic prowess is reflected in my first class honours during my bachelor degree programme. What is even striking is that I pursued this course on a distant learning mode where I had to combine family, work and other commitments with studies.

So irrespective of the my current qualification and the years required to pursue such a degree, I believe I can excel.

To add to this, I am very familiar with the challenges associated with the distance learning program because I undertook my bachelor degree program in the same distance mode.

I have therefore learnt how to allocate time for work, family, church and more importantly my studies. The study plan I adopted during my degree program which yielded such outstanding result can be repeated for even better academic performance in my PhD program.

I am therefore depending on this medium for such a help.
