Job Profile:

The primary responsibility of the Software Applications Development Engineer is to develop new applications and improve upon existing ones that will our client and business needs

Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related computer programs

Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps, or desktop applications products

Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications

Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

Requirements:

Participates in design, development, deployment and maintenance of sophisticated data-oriented applications

Utilizes specific web application technologies, including web frameworks, to write robust and scalable applications

Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and respect for fellow team members

Provides constructive feedback on his/her work through peer reviews

Delivers software according to

pre-specified requirements, as well as meeting an established schedule

Required Skills:

Must have mobile and web-based application experience

Developed Angular applications using best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability by creating re-usable Angular components and modules

Write unit tests for Angular applications

Write and maintain SQL stored procedures

Agile Methodologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required

4+ years of software development experience with an emphasis on data processing and database management, web applications, and mobile/Internet technologies

4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on design and architecture preferred
