The role of the CAD Engineer is responsible for generating two- and three-dimensional models and
drawings using Autodesk software such as AutoCAD/Revit for projects that could range in complexity.

Requirements

Collaborates with other engineers and architects to incorporate new technologies into the company's production processes.

Generates technical specifications for design needs.

Use solid modeling tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD, to complete tasks.

Use AutoCAD or Revit to draw working drawings of complex architectural systems.

Use computer aided design (CAD) software to create functional drawing sheets.

Collect data using personal computers and other equipment to complete quality Responsible for the development and maintenance of 2D and 3D CAD drawings for Autodesk Products-Deliverable: 3D drawings including Autodesk Revit and Mechanical Drawings.

Take hand drawn sketches made on site and translate them into easily produced models and drawings using CAD software.

Take responsibility for the design specifications from concept to completion, including the dimensions, materials to

be used, and the procedural steps in completing the project.

Analyses design requirements and recommend possible solutions and/or alternative constructions.

Completes site survey reports and the indexing, recording and filing of survey documents, plans and drawing prints in line with existing procedures.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a CAD engineer.

Diploma or equivalent in CAD Draughting field.

Demonstrated experience in developing site design and detailed equipment design for production and installation.

Experience using 2D/3D CAD Autodesk packages such as the latest versions of AutoCAD/Revit.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an information technology environment
