About the role

Kenya Breweries Ltd (KBL), one among our six subsidiaries, has been a leading brewer in Kenya since operations began in 1922 and continues to operate from our brewery, based in Ruaraka, Nairobi.

We are seeking qualified and passionate individuals to fill the positions of Machine Operators.

The successful individuals will report to a Team Leader and will be assigned to the production process for which their qualifications and abilities are best suited, either in the Brewing sections or Packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities

Efficiency of your assigned line, paying particular attention to quality, safety and productivity targets

Carry out routine Clean, Inspect, Lubricate, Tag (CILT), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability is above target to enable full realization of production capacity

Participate in training, coaching and continuous improvement exercises

Does this sound

like you?

Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Food Science and Technology, Process/Biochemical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent

You have at least 1-2 years’ experience in operations and maintenance

You have a minimum of ‘C’ grade in Mathematics in “O” levels

You have the ability to take decisions within company procedures and policies as well the accountability that comes with it

You have multiple skills, able to work across the other roles in operations

You are able to take on additional responsibilities as and when required

The ability to continuously learn and improve your competence is essential
