Tasks & Responsibilities

Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind.

Supervise a team of writers and coordinate with freelance contributors

Ensure that content meets the client’s needs, and follows our inhouse style guide

Organize, modify and update existing content

Manage a busy workload according to deadline

Analyze data and analytics and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.

Verify content and information

Represent the organization at launches, meetings, and press events.

Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax

Work with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience.

Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will have experience in developing and editing content, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications or related field

You have excellent command of the English language

You have writing, copy editing and proofreading experience

You have good communication and interpersonal skills

You are highly organized and detail oriented

You are proficient in desktop publishing software

You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms

Experience with Google Suite, Slack and Monday will be an added advantage.
