Main purpose of the job
Support COVID-19 activities together with other program set-up activities and perform initial payment reviews and processing.

Job Description

Initial review of payment claims from the regions in relation to Grants under Contract (GUC) activities and ensure they are properly supported based on activities performed and in line with Payment Guidelines;

Prepare bank files for payment processing;

Ensure payment trackers are completed and submitted within agreed timelines;

Address concerns in relation to pending payments;

Initial review of bank statements for GUC payments which have not cleared and follow up with respective regions for reprocessing;

Provide input for weekly update sessions on regional payment status;

Maintain proper documents filing and arrangement in archive for easy tracking; and

Performing any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field;

Knowledge of computer applications including MS Excel and MS Word;

Good communication skills; and

Attentiveness to details.
